I flew in from CA to Boston, then drove to NH. I searched for something in downtown Nashua and found Fody's. A good menu. When I got there the atmosphere was great. Seemed like a lot of locals. Building is from 1833. My server was friendly and I got a beer and my food pretty quickly (I wasn't in a rush). The fish & chips hit the spot. And with a Sam Adams it was perfect. I will be back! A great laid back tavern.

Fody’s is always a good time. This time, we walked in without a reservation and got right in. I love the old building, and the decor is great as well. The service was excellent as usual. We each ordered a cocktail, an app, and an entree. I had the lemon blueberry martini (pro tip, get a salt rim) which was delicious. Equally delicious was my chicken noodle soup appetizer. Hot and fresh. My entree was the steak and fries, which was a huge portion. The steak was melting on my plate it was so tender. Absolutely delicious. Fody’s is a great vibe, with great food and service. I can’t wait to go back.

Surprisingly, a nice place with love music (cover band) the might I went. Decent food, bathroom, and polite wait staff.

My partner and I went on a Wednesday night, around 8pm and they were doing trivia. The seating is a mix between giant armchairs, plush dining room chairs, high top wooden chairs, and regular wooden chairs. The server was quite friendly and made me laugh a couple of times. I got the Chicken Pot Pie and my partner got the Wess T Burger. I loved the Chicken Pot Pie. Absolutely delicious. I also got the Butterscotch Belly Warmer hot alcoholic drink and, had I not been driving, I would have gotten a second.

As I prepared to pay the check I realized I couldn't wait to come back! It's been at least 20 years since I was last here for a quick bite and a comedy show. The flatbread appetizer I had that night was memorable but no longer on the menu. Tonight, with a friend, we got there early and had a great table, able to get all the ambiance. Be sure to ask the history of the place and they will share an excellent, interesting, write up. Our server, Danielle, was perfect and smiley and caring and when asked..shared her favorites with us. We were not disappointed with appetizers or our orders. I took half home. Before finishing my meal I ordered another entree I had been interested in ...to go. And more crispy brussel sprouts...to go. I don't often treat myself...tonight was worth it. Thank you, Fody's.

Our favorite restaurant in downtown Nashua. I recommend the Pome"granite" Martini and the Steak & Fries. They've got a great chicken pot pie as well.

Carlos and Danielle were super kind and took such good care of us! Drinks were cold and delicious & the pouting tots were good. We'll definitely be going back. Also there's trivia on Wednesdays! The buffalo Mac n cheese sort of tasted like kraft dinner.
